Lois has a background in structured finance and operational investment banking.

Lois joined Deutsche Bank in 1987 after 6 years with Bank of New Zealand, corporate finance division, in Sydney. From 1987-1997 she was responsible for the management of asset financing equity and leveraged leases and property trusts, of which Bain & Co executed some 240 transactions in a portfolio of $6 billion. From 1995-2005, Lois was responsible for the administration of 70 research and development syndicates totaling $1.5 billion.

During the period 1999-2002, Lois was Vice President, Head of Operations for Loans, Structured and Debt Capital Markets and Structured Finance for Australia/New Zealand.
