Nextec is a leading arranger/syndicator of private equity and venture capital for growth orientated businesses in Australia. Nextec provides advice on capital raisings for companies in each of our industry sectors of expertise, with a particular focus on arranging later stage expansion capital (including to fund acquisitions) and management buyouts for larger businesses.
Through our extensive networks in the private equity and broader investment communities and alliances, we have access to a wide range of Australian and international funding sources.
We prepare the business proposition for the client, and the required fund raising documentation, match the most appropriate investors to the strategic goals and operational needs of the client and project manage the capital raising process.
Management buyout and expansion capital opportunities would typically involve investments by private equity firms of between A$10 million to A$100 million in medium to large sized companies.

Public Offerings
Industry understanding and strong project management skills are vital throughout a complex IPO process. For each IPO project, Nextec provides independent advice and manages the entire project - from structuring and valuation through to placement. Our role is to act solely as the advisor to the issuer - we are not conflicted by also running a private client or institutional equity sales operation. In the capacity of issuer advisor we are able to independently assess the merits of potential underwriters/brokers offers and ensure the client obtains the best structure and pricing.

Venture Capital
Nextec is a leading arranger/syndicator of venture capital funding for growth businesses in the SME sector (businesses with enterprise values of between $5 million to $25 million).
Nextec provides advice on capital raisings for SME’s in each of our industry sectors of expertise, with a particular focus on arranging expansion capital for organic growth or acquisitions.
Funding for SME’s would typically be sourced from venture capital funds or high net worth private investors and would involve investments of between $5 million to $25 million.Our services include all the services provided in the context of larger private equity raisings as well as more specialized services relevant to SME’s (such as advice on strategic growth opportunities and capital management). |
